Re è la sonorizzazione poetica delle opere di Re Delle Aringhe, ispirate all'epopea di Gilgamesh. Non è quindi un disco di poesia sonora classico: non è neanche un semplice commento sonoro in quanto linguaggio visivo e linguaggio poetico sono un tutt'uno col concept.I testi sono tratti dal Gilgamesh stesso e declamati in 3 lingue: accadico, italiano, inglese.E' la voce e il movimento del corpo a pilotare il suono, senza uso di particolari diavolerie: semplicemente attraverso i parametri "live in direct" di alcuni programmi freeware per iPad. Un viaggio analogico/digitale , un ritorno al futuro nell'antico mito della parola.

RE is the sound of the poetic drawings by Re delle Aringhe, inspired by the epic of Gilgamesh. It is therefore not a classic sound poetry album: it is not even a simple score, as visual language and poetic language are one with the concept. Texts are taken from the Gilgamesh poem itself,and declaimed in 3 languages: Akkadian, Italian, English.The voice and the body movements control the sound ,simply through the parameters of some freeware programs for iPad. An analogue/digital journey back to the future into the ancient myth of the word
